Welcome to the EGUSD English/Language Arts Wiki
ELA_framework.jpg

The purpose of this wiki is to provide PreK-12 resources for the teaching of reading and writing. Resources are intended to support not only the instruction of the current California State Standards but also the recently California-adopted Common Core State Standards (CCSS). For more information, visit the Sacramento County Office of Education at http://www.scoe.net/castandards/ to view a copy of the CCSS.

To navigate this resource, click on a topic from the list of pages on the right. It will take you to a page devoted to a particular domain. For ease of navigation, pages have been divided into support for PreK-6 and 7-12 grades. There is a Table of Contents for each page that, once clicked, will take you directly to the specific location on the page.

Since this is meant to be a collaborative resource, please feel free to email the ELA Curriculum Specialist, LaRae Blomquist, at lblomqui@egusd.net to add material or ask for additional support.
